Two Saturday’s ago are team played the final game of the season and were crowned Champions of the Czech league that we play in. Of course it was anti climatic like European league that we were in with the fact that there were no playoffs. The play off at the end of the year consists of a round robin play down and the team with the most wins coming out as champions, so of course that was it. We did get some pretty nice medals and a great team party afterwards to celebrate the win and the season.
For those of you who don’t know, I’ve decided to sign on again and will be playing another season here for Slavia Praha. Chelsa has decided to come back for another year but will be moving back to Regina and starting her career. But we will have two new Canadians with my friend Jeni Creary coming to play along with Chelsa’s friend Arial Shautty (not sure on the spelling of her name). So with those two new players we should be a stronger team. Here are some pics from our celebrations...
